Re: Have you had problems with PayPal? I personally really don't like PayPal's confirmed address policy. If you ship something to a customer with an unconfirmed address, and the customer claims they didn't receive the item, PayPal will refund them even if you have shipment confirmation to prove that they did get it! I think that is absolutely ridiculous. It is up to the customer to submit the correct address, and if you ship it to the address they give you and you have proof it got there, they should not be able to claim they didn't receive it at your cost. Especially since not everyone is able to confirm their addresses per PayPal's policies, so then you have to decide if you want to trust the customer or not. There are too many scammers out there to be sure. I think that is a ridiculous policy, and you don't have that problem if the customer pays through any other method other than PayPal, but so many people want to use it. |
