I used to use Microsoft Frontpage and it was actually pretty interesting. It really helped me out and I think that it's really good. I recommend it for people who are starting out. I also use notepad to edit and create HTML files.

Well I am not good in HTML but most of work I do in notepad only but last few days I am learning on Macromedia Dreamweaver. It looks better for me.

I work on my sites everyday and I do it with just a plain old text editor.

For Windows, I use Notepad++. For Linux, I use either the standard text editor or VI.

Front Page isn't my cup of tea...

I used DreamWeaver for years. Then, I started coding by hand and haven't looked back.

In the beginning stages, I will sketch out my ideas with pencil and paper. Then, I move on to Abode Photoshop. Once I'm satisfied with the look of the site, I'll fire up Notepad++ and dig in.

I also have on hand a CSS library that I use with all my sites, just to speed up the process.
