Any eBay sellers here?

Let me start this thread to talk about eBay and the experiences of the members with this ecommerce business.

I have once been selling at eBay and have sold quite a number of my used and new clothes. I should say that it is not a really great business as we don't really profit from it much otherwise our items aren't going to be sold.

Anybody else who has been in eBay as a seller to share their experiences?

Recently, I attempted to sell a few items on Ebay, not one of my items sold, I found that really
disappointing. Now, my son on the other hand regularly lists items, and his always sell. Maybe
I need to seek his help, before I attempt to sell any more items...S

Well I am also E-bay seller and sold many items of mine and my friends. Most of them are mobile phones. I earn good money from selling them and thanks to god because I never scammed on E-bay.

I have been dealing on ebay for years. I did run into and help bust a scam ring out of Chicago a few years back.

I'm trying to get into eBay selling too but haven't found a good product yet. Anyone willing to share information on what they sell successfully and/or sources for products?

I used to list books on eBay, but most of them didn't sell, and the ones that did only sold for a few cents (book pricing is RIDICULOUS on eBay). When you considered the time it took to package the books and take them to the post office, I was losing money from the word go.

I sell stuff on Ebay. I find that some things sell and some things don't. Calypso, you are right...books do not sell at all. The prices are ridiculous. I have found that DVD's sell well and clothes do okay too.

I run a handful of auctions on ebay every week. Everything I have on there is some type of viral marketing ebook. This way, I only need to make a few cents on the product itself. Then I offer master resell rights to anyone that buys it (or rebranding rights) then hopefully I'll make more in backend sales.

I am a Ebay Powerseller. I have been selling on there for years, and make good money. If you want to sell on ebay & actually make money I recommand drop shipping. You can get products that are in demend at whole sale prices and not have to worrying about having the inventory in your home or shipping everything.

I was selling on Ebay and did pretty good but they are driving away small time hobbyist/sellers with all their high fees and rules. I have sought out an alternative and decided to open my e-store there. Doing pretty good. I just posted about this on my blog.
